My pet

I have four dogs and a cat. I’m not really an animal person and that’s why I like cats: they are like humans. So I’ll talk to you about my cat.

Her name is Ambar and my mom adopted her like seven years ago from a cat shelter.

She is a bit ugly and not at all photogenic. She is like most cats: selfish. I think that’s funny. When someone is sitting on the couch she stares at that person until she recovers her spot. She only drinks water from the sink and never eats old food.   

I used to have a guinea pig, his name was Leo and he died last year. Ambar and him were very good friends. They played together: he would chase her until she would escape from him, terrified.

Ambar is an important part of my family. She enjoys watching TV with us and seating on the table while we are having lunch.

Sometimes she goes into my room in the mornings to catch some sunlight. She closes her eyes and stays there for a few minutes until I try to pet her, then she escapes

The best Holidays

The best holiday I've had so far was on 2015.

I traveled with my mom and my sister to Europe for three weeks and we visited some family friends.

Our first stop was Prague. We met there with my ex boyfriend and he took us in his car to many places. The most impressive one was the Sedlec Ossuary, a chapel completely covered with bones.

Then we spent a week in Olomouc, a beautiful Czech city where we visited my old exchange family. I hadn’t seen them in four years and my mom hadn’t even met them. That was very exciting.

Our next stop was Istanbul. We stayed at my sister Petek’s house and that was –I think- the best week of my life. The food was great, people were very nice and it was really exciting to see such a different culture.

We ended our trip in Madrid, only the three of us in a very centric hotel. This is my favorite holiday so far because I spent it with the most important women of my life.

Entry 1 (25/08) A country I'd like to visit

There are many countries I would like to visit, but there is one in particular that I actually dream about. It is Japan.

I think Asia in general is very unknown to us. We usually dream about visiting countries like France, Italy or the United States of America, so we leave other continents behind. Well, Asia is for me the most interesting continent that I can think about, and Japan is the most beautiful country.

I enjoy watching anime and the food looks too delicious. Sometimes I eat ramen and I love it, but I guess it must be much better in its original country. 

Also, my sister is living in Hiroshima at the moment. Whenever I watch her Instagram stories I get a little jealous. I wish I could visit her, I know she would be very helpful with the language because she speaks it perfectly.

I’m sure I’ll get there in the future. Probably not soon, but meanwhile I’m filling my list with all the beautiful places I want to visit someday.
